According to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office, deputies investigating the incident determined the operator was allegedly driving while impaired at the time of the rollover.

Officials state the equipment exited the roadway onto the shoulder before overturning. The collision reportedly caused damage to the roller, which was later removed from the scene by a towing company.

Emergency crews from the Maynard Fire Department, Mercy Flight, Deerfield Fire, Kunkle Ambulance, and New York State Police also responded to assist at the scene.

At this time, authorities have not released additional information regarding possible charges or whether the investigation remains ongoing.
