Screenshots and social media posts circulating online are raising concerns after users began sharing links claiming people can receive “$1,000 SNAP relief payments” through online applications.
Several screenshots reviewed by TVOTT Hillbilly News appear to show unofficial Google Sites webpages advertising “SNAP Food Stamp $1,000 Relief Active Now.” Other images being shared online appear to show alleged account balances and deposit notifications connected to EBT accounts.
TVOTT Hillbilly News has not independently verified the screenshots, the claims being made online, or whether the websites involved are legitimate.
At this time, no official announcement has been located from New York State or federal SNAP agencies confirming a statewide $1,000 relief payment tied to the circulating links.
Users are encouraged not to enter EBT card numbers, PIN numbers, Social Security information, banking details, or other personal information into websites shared through random social media comments or messages.
Online scams targeting EBT and SNAP users have become increasingly common nationwide, with scammers often using fake websites, misleading posts, or phishing links to collect sensitive information.
Information surrounding these circulating posts remains limited and developing. If official agencies release additional information or warnings, this article may be updated.
If you have verified information, official statements, or additional screenshots connected to this situation, message TVOTT Hillbilly News directly.
Please keep comments respectful and avoid posting threats, personal information, or unverified accusations in the comment section.
