According to Oneida County Sheriff’s Office, Two Injured Following Reported Bridgewater Crash

According to a statement from the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded at approximately 3:41 PM on May 6, 2026, to a reported single-vehicle accident with injuries on Mapledale Road in the Town of Bridgewater.

Following an investigation at the scene, authorities stated that Jacob Land (21) of Leonardsville, NY, was reportedly operating a 1998 Buick sedan southbound on Mapledale Road when the vehicle allegedly exited the roadway while navigating a curve and entered a ditch. Officials say the vehicle then rolled over multiple times.

Deputies reported that both the driver and a passenger sustained injuries in the crash. Jacob Land was transported by Lander’s Ambulance to Wynn Hospital for reported facial injuries. Miranda Raposo (20) of Bridgewater was transported by Bridgewater Ambulance to Wynn Hospital for reported upper arm and shoulder injuries.

The Sheriff’s Office stated that citations will be issued as a result of the motor vehicle accident investigation. At this time, no additional information has been released regarding the extent of the injuries or any further enforcement action.

Bridgewater Fire Department, Bridgewater Ambulance, Edward’s Ambulance, and Kolor Khromatics Auto assisted at the scene, according to officials.
